AWStats CSS Theme
Modernized AWStats theme stylesheet. More responsive towards high resolutions and with dark mode.
Theming for AWStats is a mixture of configurable colors, hardcoded colors, image assets, and a stylesheet. Due to fixed pixel-based sizes it is also not very optimized towards scaling on higher resolutions nowadays.
The purely CSS-based AWStats Theme tries to override and thereby unify appearance control.
Improvements to the default HTML files as created by buildstaticpages.pl include:
- solid color bar charts instead of image-based gradients for legibility
- fully configurable color variables
- default (monospace) font and size
- consistent margins and clutter free spacing
- dark mode according to browser preference
The light mode stays consistent with the original colors to accommodate for long-lasting habits. The dark mode picks similar but more pleasant and better contrasting colors.
As drop-in replacement it can simply be used as StyleSheet in the configuration file:
